Spindrift Internet Services was founded by an experienced business manager (with a computer science background) when he changed career to become a creative artist. He discovered that affordable website design and hosting services that were genuinely professional were not readily available.

He was not looking for another cloned site typical of the web generally and churned out by professionals and amateurs alike or valueless flash introductions and gimmicks.

He was looking for long term confidence, a website built to recognised standards and one which worked well on the majority of browsers. It had to be future proof and maintainable. He needed his site to be hosted on reliable and independant servers with multiple e-mail addresses from his own domain name.
